Wild ArmsAt first glance, during the introduction FMV and at the title screen, Wild Arms may seem like a wild west RPG or something. It isn't. However, it packs all of the adventure one would expect from a wild west game.
Wild Arms is the story of three adventurers who become the saviors of the world (surprise!). They uncover an evil plot devised by these evil people and take them on.
All joking aside, W.A. was the first good RPG to use pre-rendered fight scenes. Pretty cool stuff (a friend of mine was amazed by the shadows of the characters and objects). The music is pretty cool. It's not as depressing as some RPGs.
The combat system in Wild Arms is the same old menu-driven fare used by the genre for years. Nothing too original pops out here (the combat system that is).
I cannot think of anything being wrong with Wild Arms. It's a great game with an excellent credits sequence (you must see it!).
